Inquiring, Reserving And Purchasing A Puppy
Adding a new puppy to your family is an exciting time. Just remember that puppies grow up and are a lifetime commitment. As your puppy’s breeder, we will always be available to help you anyway we can regarding your puppy’s care.
Inquiring About a Puppy
We ask ALL families that are interested in our pups to FIRST please fill out our online Available Puppy Application or our Anticipated Litter Application. These forms are one of the tools we use to screen families and help better match pups with potential families. It also serves as a way to get to know you better, so please take the time to fill it with all the details that you can.

Not sure which current or future puppy would match you the best? That’s ok! Just fill and submit an Anticipated Litter Application and we will review your application and get with you to discuss it further.
We do check the email inbox once a day. Inquiries will be responded to in order of receipt. If more than one application is received on the same pup, the first application has first choice to that pup.
**To speed up the process. Once you fill and submit a puppy inquiry form, feel free to text me directly at 870-737-3328 to let me know you submitted an application.
Waiting List Placement:
Would you like to acquire a pup from Hilltop Acres but the timing isn’t quite right?
We do have a Puppy Waiting List!!
To be eligible to be placed on the Hilltop Acres puppy waiting list, an online Anticipated Puppy Holding Agreement must be submitted. A $200 minimum fee is required to be placed on the waiting list. This placement fee is to secure your place for choice of pup in any future litter here at Hilltop Acres.
* Families are notified once a litter that may contain a pup of their interest is confirmed.
*Once puppies are born, the families are contacted in the order that holding fees received and each are given an opportunity to apply their placement fee to reserve a puppy.
*If family agrees to use their placement fee towards a newborn puppy: The fee becomes half of the required puppy holding fee. An additional $200 ($400 total) is required to hold a puppy until it is 8 weeks old.
*If a family decides not to apply their placement fee towards a pup in the offered litter: Family remains on the waiting list and will be contacted when the next litter is born and so on. **Families may or may not have same order of choice in future litter.**

Reserving a Currently Available Puppy
Once we decide which puppy is perfect for you, a $400 holding fee (unless purchase contract terms cannot be meet by us) and a signed purchase contract is required to reserve your puppy.
To Reserve a Currently Available Pup:
- A online Available Puppy Application must be submitted.
- A Puppy Holding Agreement must be submitted.
A $400 holding fee is required to reserve and hold a pup until it is 8 weeks of age.

DIRECT PURCHASING OPTION
A dog is a lifetime commitment and should never be an impulse purchase but we understand that some families have their hearts set on acquiring a certain gender and/or color pup with no questions asked and when you see that special pup, you want to claim him/her before someone else does. The Secure Now option is available for those families.
Please be sure that you are ready and willing to love and care for the new pup unconditionally before using this option.
Holding Fees for the securement of a pup are accepted through our business PayPal portal using a PayPal account, Venmo or debit/credit card.
To use the Secure Now option, please click on the golden “Secure Now” tab located under each available puppy description.
**We do require an Available Puppy Application to be submitted along with the Holding Fee Agreement, this gives your information needed to complete the puppy’s exit paperwork and helps us to ensure that the pup you are purchasing will match what you are looking for in a pup.
Leaving our Care
Puppies are ready to leave our home at 8 weeks of age. If we feel the puppy is not mature enough to leave our care at that age, we do reserve the right to hold the puppy longer. Please understand that our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of the puppy first.
Payment Options
Waiting List Placement Fees or Puppy Reservation Fees– We accept Zelle, Venmo and Cash app as forms of payment. We will accept PayPal, Credit/Debit Card payments through our online business PayPal portal ONLY.
Remaining Balances– We accept Cash, Zelle, Cash App or Venmo as forms of payment for remaining balances upon personal pickup or upon delivery if having breeder delivering your puppy.
**Remaining Balances must be paid in FULL at least 7 days before they are ready to leave us if a pup is being delivered by other transporters other than the breeder.**
In Route To Pick Up– NO Fees are needed if you are in route to personally pick up a puppy that is READY TO GO!! We accept Cash, Zelle, Cash App or Venmo as forms of payment upon arrival to pick up your puppy. We will hold a pup for 72 hours after agreements have been made to acquire a selected puppy.
**A online Available Puppy Application is required even if you will be in route to pick up a puppy that is READY TO GO**
